Looking to update my current missmatched hybrids and have come across a deal on this Adams model, does anyone have any feedback?
I am looking to add to my current 5-9 set with a ,4iron equivalent, in the set it would be 22 deg. The XTDs have a 23 with 1.5 degrees of adjustment, I'm guessing it's a good start?

Any help appreciated

Cheers

Have been looking at the '20*/XTD Ti' myself, is that 1.5* of adjustment in both directions or split as in +/- .75* ?

I just bought an 18 degree XTD Ti hybrid. I can confirm the adjustment is +/- 1.5 degrees.

I can also confirm that the XTD Ti is remarkably easy to hit and in my subjective opinion the Matrix Red Tie shaft feels a tad firmer than stated flex. If you typically are on the cusp between regular and stiff.... you might find regular works better if the Red Tie is the shaft option.

Thanks, My 915 D3 has a Diamana S+ 60 shaft in S, any idea where that would put me in the Red Tie shaft?

As you can see from my sig, I'm a fan!!

Nick's probbly right about the Red Tie feeling slightly stiffer than flex - at least compared to other Matrix shafts which tend to feel a bit softer. I'm in that cusp though and have no problems with the shaft, though prefer too stiff to too soft! The Diamana tends to be spot on to flex, though I have a Diamana Kai'Li 80 Hybrid shaft in S that I was contemplating trying. If you don't get on with the Matrix, I could do a swap if you pay the postage.

@Karl102 If Lucas doesn't want that hybrid, I'll take it!

Does anyone know how the adjustment on the Adams clubs works?, with My Driver the adjustments to loft also change the lie and face angle. If I remember correctly an increase in loft leads to a closed clubface and a slightly more upright lie angle.

I am after a 19deg and 22 deg hybrid to fill the gaps for the equivalent 3 and 4 iron but would I be better off buying a 18 and going up to 19 or a 20 and cranking it down?
There is very little info on the Adams website

Cheers in advance
