There was a lad called Steve,
who's distance I find hard to believe!
Wood was the name,
not Woods, what a shame!

Distance was his boast,
hell, miles more than most!!
325 yards plus was the cry!
Is he for real, or just a pie?

A challenge was set,
surely someone must take that bet?
G20 in regular is the bat,
what do we make of that?

Longer than Bubba Watson,
he talks more than John Motson!
Yorkshire or Lothian is the locus,
I fear it all, may be hocus pocus!

Timgolfy came and went,
his claims and boasts all spent.
Steve Wood, what a guy,
lets hope its not all a lie.
