So yesterday I played my 99th 18 hole course. Taken me 27 years but it's been fun beyond belief!

Not quite in Jezz Ellwood's league (400 is it, Jezz?) He's got a hard life, that man. Did we all choose the wrong job?

Never played the Old Course so it's gonna be my treat to myself...very soon, (while I'm on form )

For me, divot......Carnoustie. Loved it. Real thinking man's course. Best bunkering I've ever seen.

Most enjoyable, though, the Gary Player CC, Sun City. Wow. If you ever get the chance....

''Findler's List'' was impressive but then along comes Sammy.
I've played ONE of Findlay's courses (Lytham). I do better with Sammy's. Four. Ferndown, Purbeck and the two Sunningdales.
They don't have an icon for envy!

Purbeck is a great course (maybe was) - last time I was there it was rather disappointing condition wise (well very actually) - can't take away the views though......

Sorry to hear that about Purbeck, Sammy. I remember playing there when you could hardly stand up for the wind and the heather was a b******. Great views of Poole Harbour, though.
