36 hole golf resort

St mellions is great I’ve stayed in the hotel a couple times, brilliant in nice weather few of the rooms have wee balcony’s over looking 18th green

We can't do the Thursday now and they want £150 for the Friday and you've told me it's not worth that. Any other 36 holers within an hour of Wolverhampton?

Belton Woods - courses are OK, bar is expensive but the place is rammed with lager louts driving buggies all over the place playing loud music. Chav's Charter.

I stayed there for 3 nights with my family and had none of those issues. It was all very sedate.

That was midweek school holidays. I can imagine it is very possibly a different scene and dynamic to summer Fri/Sat nights though.

Just over the 1hr from Wolverhampton - but we did Nottinghamshire Golf & Country club for my son's pre-wedding golf get together.

2 nice courses. Plenty of water and a very unique green on one of the holes.

Hotel rooms well above average and good solid food offering

Bar prices not outlandish from memory.

£159 for 2 rounds plus DB&B. Available from the usual golf break providers!
