Howdidido has me down as 5.4 but there's a competition the club have to undo as they made an error declaring ALL bunkers as GUR last Wednesday, which they can't do and still count it for handicapping..

Your scores don't lie. You shot what you shot end of. If you deserved better you'd have shot better.

It is easy to say it could have been better. Even after the best rounds, we can all the say the same.
The flip side is of course, it could have been much worse! What about the putt that sneaked in the side door? What about the chip that checked more than usual on the second bounce? What about the 30 degree bounce to the left off the shoulder of a bunker that put you within 15 feet of the pin? And so on............. I bet there are plenty of shots in your round that could have had a different result and affected the score but they didn't.
There is a considerable amount of luck in golf. Anyone who says different is wrong. Good days could always be better and they could also be a lot worse. It is the rub of the green combined with your consistency level that gives you the number on the card at the end of the round.

Another good medal round today....shot a 6 over so should buffer.....had a messy double bogie but on the whole struck it well......last round with my TM MC's as well .......they've served me well but will be heading to the For Sale section next week where they'll joining my TM MB's.....

just checked HDID....the most I did in one month was 9 qualifiers in July 2012.... A few months with 8 as well.....

The pros don't play that many comps?
May be you need to target orientate a bit more, rather than go for the scatter gun approach?

Seems to be working OK at the moment?....also they play 4 rounds a week per comp (assuming they make the cut)
