I used to play fairly comfortably to 5 or 6, until I had to stop playing about 5 years ago, and 6 months ago I started playing again.

I've just had my 3rd lesson from Glenn Turner at North West National (based in Rainford), and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He has changed my set-up, reduced my swing to a 3/4 swing, and I'm hitting my 6 Iron 20 yards further with very little effort (increased from 165 to 185 yards), also I am swinging much more under control, better ball flight, better strike, hitting a slight draw now as opposed to a fade which I've hit for about 20 years!!!

Anyone in the North West, I would highly recommend visiting Glenn

Nice to hear a success story and a good pro. :)

I agree, I have some good lessons with a pro last year but he dropped off the radar and I cant find anyone that I am happy with since. Our club pro took money off to and told me he thought I had MAJOR tallent and that he did not want to touch my swing... what a joker!

I have started a great relationship with the guy who fitted my new irons but he does all his work inside on a sim. I feel like he is the guy but am not sure about always being inside.

The pro at my local range did great things for my mates game and I think he is good but I know he no longer plays golf and that puts me off, I also think hes a total C8ck.
