Lovely wee track with some great views over the Firth of Forth and down to East Lothian. Birdie 2 on the 1st there for me on Thursday last week, stiffed a 7 iron to 2 ft. Unusual to have par threes for both the first and second holes. Didn't get a chance to try it this time but they had magnificent fish and chips in the clubhouse last time we were there :thup:.

I played it in 2001 when I was up for a wedding in North Queensferry. Nice track, only time I've broke 70 on a 18 hole course.

I've managed to play Aberdour on six occasions now, mainly with work outings. It's a nice enough short track but after the high octane start its all downhill. I don't mean that in a negative way. Any golf course that starts with two amazingly beautiful holes such as these can only go downhill, your not going to keep that level of thrill a minute golf holes going.

The 8th hole (I think) is also a nice hole, round the bay.
