1st comp of the year 1st career win!

Played in a stableford full h/c comp today, won with 40 points, could have been 45!
I've had 6 lessons since the new year, it goes to show.... Lessons pay off!
Shot 86-18...68! My lowest ever round! Well happy, just hope I remembered to sign my card!!!

Well done. there's nothing like a first win to make you realize that you don't have to be nervous when playing comps. I would also echo the lessons sentiment. I had a putting lesson last week as using the winter greens had really damaged my confidence. First round out after the lesson and I came home with 30 putts, and it really should have been less. Confidence is now sky high (note to self, don't provoke the golfing gods.)
