Myjoy icons. Never had a problem with leakin. If you treat any shoe with respect it will (should) last

Very true Homer! I have never had leaky shoes in the 25 or so years of playing golf regularly. FJ, Nike, Puma, Etonic and adidas have never let me down.

Keep clean, use polish or dubbin, never wear two days in a row, dry at room temp etc

except the circumstance where the first pair leaked in first round, and the replacement pair's leather stretched like warm plastic after 3 rounds.
I have an old pair of FJ's that are 3 years old and still comfy and dry. Methinks FJ have either changed their outsourced manufacturer or supplier.
Eccos are Uber comfortable, as are the Adizero's

I'll be giving FJ a wide berth me thinks. £170 for the greatest shoe they have made, worn a maximum of 12 times on links courses in dry conditions and the 1st time they get wet so do my plates of meat.

Ecco look favourite

These threads come around regularly and what appears to be happening is that every make has people posting to say brand x, y or z has left them down after 1, 2 or x rounds. It seems that there is a wide discrepancy in how some shoes perform out of the box. It isnt right but I guess given the units each must shift there wil be those that do fall short

For £185 quid you could probably get some made to fit, clocked an ad in the back of agolf monthly mag a while back and i was tempted but the wife got me some fj icon asasuprise, which are actually very nice and comfy too.

Credit note with AG so no custom jobs lol

Icons are way too heavy for summer golf.

Before you buy any shoe put a pair of the new tiger woods shoes on your feet. They are amazing and VERY easy to clean

Not heard any bad reviews about the Ecco Biom Hybrids. I wear the Ecco street shoes as casual shoes all the time. Very comfortable, but not in the class of the Bioms. Did pick up a pair for £60 though, compared to the £139 I paid for the Bioms.
