None of those shots bother me greatly. I might balls them up, but they're not the stuff to raise the blood.

The long shot out of thick wet rough on the other hand is a real pain. Aside from the technique being a bit tricky, you'll never know if your ball is partly buried or carrying a big chunk of mud until you hit it. The others are just a question of nerve for me.
 
the worst is when you have a bunker shot and end up thinning the ball off the planet because you just cant get the club through the sand.

Yes, because you're still using the sand iron with its heavy bounce, so it won't get through the wet sand, which is why I said you need to change to a low bounce wedge (A Vokey 60 04 or something similar) and pick the ball as clean as you can off the surface.
