Your Teams Home Footie Top Cost

Arsenal replica kits from club website is £60

Hiwever of you want the official licence kit that is exactly the same as the players wear it's £100
A lot of fans have not got the same figure as the players and therefore shouldn’t wear the £100 one but the fan friendly replica. Doesn’t always stop them, though.

My teams kit cost €100. For that kind of money I want to be on the pitch.

£55, and the home one is terrible.

The away was launched in China today and it's an instabuy. Beautiful kit.

Surely the £90 is what's considered "matchwear" rather than a replica kit?

Shirts £65
Shorts £35
Socks £17
No thanks.
Only ever bought one footy shirt in my life and can't see me ever buying another.
It's this one and it was £25;

£85 for a shirt, shorts and sock - Middlesbrough FC.

Being excessively cuddly I don't suit horizontal strips, especially the Boro shirt which has strips at chest level. I end up looking like a S&M telly tubby whose airbag has gone off.

You sound just like Davemac's type 😂

Horizontal stripes are better than vertical stripes for cuddly people, horizontals makes them look thinner!

Just heard from a Man City fan, and verified online, their home kit is .....NINETY FIVE QUID !!!!!!!! with the UEFA (Champions League?) one at a nice round ONE HUNDRED !!!!!!!

Technically he is right but wrong. You can get a bog standard shirt for £65 on there site. However start adding badges ( ours had a gold champs badge on the sleeve). And the price goes up. Think the 100£ one is the players type shirts. That aside. Still expensive. Fool and his money etc.

Related to the topic, does anyone know how much profit is on a shirt. Reason I say. Last season City were sponsored by Nike. Daughter knew someone who worked for Nike in one of the shops. They got 40% off everything. I got a players shirt for less money than a £65 club shop shirt ( which I get 10 % off that price being a season ticket holder).
They still make a profit. The mark up must be astronomical.
That aside, how much for a Galvin green or other golf top. My football shirts like me golf gear tops, I usually get in the sales. I prefer the " retro" look. 😁

I did a quick google and the estimate from 3 yrs ago was £4.79. Bearing in mind that they will all be produced in the far east, everything is in US dollars and the exchange rate is rubbish I suspect it is now around the £6 mark. That is to actually produce and land the product. Mark up after that relate to the brand, retailer, club, VAT man

There are huge margins involved here, obvious statement.
