Given the volume of rain and the rubbish drainage at my club I've decided to worry less about making it to the course and planning more on doing other things. Golf has been less fun when it is constant wading across the course with no signs of letting up

Yesterday I started the long overdue kitchen makeover, and given I'm only 2 evenings into it I've got plenty done. I'm going to try and complete the bulk of it tomorrow and leave Sunday for a nice slap up Sunday lunch somewhere with the wife and bairn. There are other jobs in the pipeline too.

Just wondering if anyone else has been able to focus more on other things, or are people simply battling on with the weather.

Bit of both as will play unless the course is closed. Conservatory (gym!) is being revamped in stages but without much enthusiasm as would rather be on the course. It looks a lot better though and I guess the house is also getting more attention than usual. Some of that due to Max finally losing his thick winter coat all over the place!!

think i might go for a swim - in a pool rather than on the course ;)
and we have a sunday farmers market that i have never been to - cos i'm usually playing. Might do some shopping for my wee nephew - get some cute outfits.

golf - huh - who needs it?!

I would have got into the garden a bit more but its the same issues out there so........off to the range and then back to the club to play snooker and some banter.

1 week old baby- feed and change a lot!
3yr old son - tonsillitis
4yr old daughter - chest infection

It's fun in my house right now!

going to the pool at doctors orders, got to get fitness levels up!!!!!!! going for stress test on the old ticker on tues. so if all is well a few holes in the afternoon, going to lytham on wednesday with my gaffer for a nice freebie.

Course still open and very playable, but this week I will be getting the car ready for the Silverstone Classic next weekend to celebrate the Cobra's 50th anniversary.

Looks like our Volvo match tomorrow is in doubt as their course is closed today. I think I might try a new challenge and see if I can eat my body weight in chocolate!

going to range as course not fun to play, maybe try a few holes after 7pm if its dry all day, quite like a few holes by myself in the evening to iron out (see what I did) a better swing and short game

Running a signup for the game FM2012 using my database on the official SI forum CSE section. Lots of fun, creative writing and some decent exposure for my database, has doubled the downloads!

Non-golfing plans. Sorry it doesn't compute. If the course is shut then the range it is. I'm sure HID has a secret list of jobs somewhere so never take the chance and go and play/practice at all costs

Same here Homer..it doesnt compute.Course was closed Wednesday gone my non working day so went to the range.Got 12 holes in on Friday tea time after work with a pal.Sunday morning up at 8am for a round at my course.
Then take my other half out for lunch.
My lovely daughter bless her went to Tenerife on Friday for 4 weeks..I will greatly miss her.
