A thinned 7 iron on a par 3 about 20 years ago. Scuttled up the fairway and onto the green which we couldn't really see that well.

Playing the Marquess course a few years ago on a forum day. Blobbed the 1st, got to the 2nd, (par 5).
Hit a "so so" drive, knocked a 5 iron down for position, left me a 9 iron in. Thinned it, hit the back of a greenside bunker, scuttled across the green, hit the flag and dropped for an eagle 3.
I'm sure the other three guys (which included RickG) swore.
