Yodel - prize for worst customer service experience 2012

Their customer service is non-existent as they don't have a contact number and never reply to emails.

2 tel numbers here on their website http://www.yodel.co.uk/contact-us.aspx ............however, its constantly engaged, tried for hours and eventually it rang, got through to press1 for this and 2 for that scenario, and when it was press 4 for a question about delivery......it disconnects FFS! phone straight back and its ENGAGED!! aaaaaaarrgghhhhhhhhh!

Been back onto Tesco Direct and will let them sort it out.....its their chosen supplier

I don't remember seeing those numbers....I do remember getting through to an endless chain of automated messages that constantly asked for the delivery number on the card etc (which I never had) but never gave an option of actually speaking to a human!
 
Just an update. Still no item received. BUT, apparently I should be worried as I took delivery and signed for the item on June 5th... While I was at work...!
This is the story that the driver has given to Yodel backed up with his GPS tracker that he was "in the area" at the specified time.
Needless to say proof of signature has been requested by me and ignored by them.

The suppliers response... "Well the driver said he delivered it, nothing more we can do...!"

Astonishing.

Greig had you paid for your item with CC like I have? you can always let them know as CC purchases are covered with insurance, but your supplier should be sending you a new one.

I paid using Paypal as I prefer the protection of payment details. So I do have come back on it, but my gripe is on principle, already bought another part as it was suspension related and very urgent.
Yodel seem to be a bunch of cowboys but it's becoming clear the cowboys seem to work with cowboys in respect to the supplier.
 
Sounds like yodel need to rebrand again ... It's a shame that each time they rebrand they don't get away from the crap service they provide !!

What were they called before Yodel? I've never had anything delivered by them (like a lot of people on this thread ;))' but will now actively avoide them!
 
Tesco Direct called me and said even they (as Yodels customer) cant get anyone including Snr Manager to speak with them, they have offered to get new one for me....
"Does that mean delivered by Yodel" I said
"yes, afraid so" they replied

"erm, I'll come to the store and collect myself thank you"

Tesco Direct have been great, Manager admitted they have had numerous complaints just today
