Yet another rules question.

Okay, this occured on Sunday.

My brother in laws ball ends up beside a bunker ... on grass, but he has to stand IN the bunker to play it.


Can he ground his club behind the ball which is on grass or os that a penalty?

yes he can ground his club as the actual ball is not in the hazard, if the ball is in the bunker or the water hazard boundaries they are required to hover the club but if it just the stance then it is fine but dont forget to rake the bunker lol
