Well, it's that time of year when we all hope to get some nice pressies, so here is what I would like to get for my fellow forummers........

Swinger.....an 8000 yard course so you can open your shoulders without worrying about hazards that are 'out of reach'

Wookie......a pair of earplugs so you get plenty of sleep. Congratulations on the new arrival in the family :)

Richart......a mobile phone.....despite what you think, they are going to catch on ;)

Markgs......a rule book, will save you plenty of shots and get your handicap down

Robobum....a season ticket for the midam tour, keep me posted on any good events you find :D

Justone.......I'm taking away your internet connection so that you will spend more time on the course and less time on here, you'll be a happier man :)

Homer......a large portion of self confidence, it will do wonders for your game

Smiffy.......a season ticket for your local riverbank, seems that is where you are happiest these days :(

Snelly.......a modern set of irons, you can't live in the past for ever mate :p

Rickg........a lifetime membership for the Centurion, seems you have found your little bit of heaven on earth.

Swingitlikehogan........ a laser rangefinder :mmm:

To all the departed Scots........ a sense of humour, don't take everything so personally guys ;)

Loads of other things I'd like to hand out but can't remember them all.

Merry Christmas to you all and here is to a fantastic golfing year in 2014 :)

Nice post....cheers.

It is indeed "heaven" especially when you get greeted like this coming off the 18th......

If you happen to find a virtual bottle of fine brandy in your sack make sure it's got my name on it . Merry Christmas to you too!

i laughed out loud at Richats mate ha... could be good fun thread if it can be kept that way

The sentiment of wishing everyone a merry Xmas is genuine but the pressies are intended as a bit of fun.....no offence intended to anyone :D

Rick.....a return of my short game will be a very welcome pressie for me

Thanks Gordon - so far so good compared to our other son on the sleeping front but early days yet.

I was going to offer you one of those keyrings you can whistle at and it beeps to attach to your rangefinder but I see you've already opted for another pressie

Richart was funny... can i also chip in a few shillings for him to get a haircut....

I just thought of a few more................

PNWokingham......a fuel card so he can afford to run that beast of a car he's bought

Palindromicbob......a map of Ireland with all the courses CLEARLY marked on it

Suspect you would need to give him a car and driver to ensure that he is at the right place.

Rumour has it like that alright Greg :D mind you i wouldnt be past the 3 amigos (Brendy , Chris & Smange ) to add a small bit to happenings .. would it lads (wait now for the replys) :D:D

Tell ya what tho he is one nugget of a fella , sound and funny

No one offering me an annual subscription to the Daily Mail?

Oh! and maybe a knit comb for Foxy! (Only joking Foxy. Honest ;) )

Copy of the independence White Paper for all forumers so that we all know what we we are talking about.

n.b. It's free from the referendum website. I got mine through the post last week - and a mighty tome it is. Though big printing used so though lots of pages there's not as much to read as you might think. And before the BTCs pipe up - yes I know - there might not actually be anything at all in it worth reading.

But I'll read it first before making any comments based upon assertions being made about it by others - most of whom may have not themselves read it.

So it can be yours for Christmas.
