I've done quite a lot of research before buying mine. From what I can see, Wren kitchens are good but their fitters are both expensive and rubbish so I've arranged my own fitter.

Just back from our appointment there.....£14.5k quoted. Room is 3.2x2.2 metres.
Appliance wise that included double oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Also a quartz worktop at just over £3k.
More expensive than others have been, but it was spec'd higher.

Although I wont mention to the wife the last sentence in your post Tashyboy! A month?
I will certainly have a look at sourcing an independant fitter - seems a good way to go. And as the old saying goes, "The best quality is only as good as the fitter fitting it".
Not sure about a steam oven Roy, we don't cook as much fish as you probably do
