Wren kitchens

When we did our kitchen we got a local firm to supply and fit, in the end. The better half was quite impressed with a place called DIY kitchens up north somewhere, could be worth a look if you've already got your own fitter lined up. They did look a lot cheaper than Wren when we looked.

We have a Wren kitchen. Pretty much what everyone else says, quality is great but their fitters have a bad reputation. I found my own fitter, he was impressed with their quality. Had it about 5 years now, no issues.

Just out of interest to the op.Who has designed your kitchen. We had ours done back in 2008/09 when we had a kitchen extension. We had a specialist kitchen fitting company in and bottom line they were rammel of the highest order. The design was Poor and the appliances they were providing were massively overpriced. My brother who was a carpenter at the time ended up fitting the kitchen. At his suggestion we got rid of the boiler which had been on the wall in the kitchen since 1992. We installed a combo boiler in the loft and got rid of the tank and airing cupboard and knocked through into the small bedroom which made it bigger.
We had an idea of what we wanted to do, but Kitchens and units had come on leaps and bounds since MFI ruled the market.
The money we saved went on granite worktops. Finished it off lovely.

My parents & sister both had Wren kitchens fitted last year,both used their fitters & were happy with them.

We’re likely going to get our utility units from DIY kitchens. It’s cheap because you measure and design it yourself online (it’s quite intuitive) and then it’s flat pack delivered so you build it as well as fit it.

Gets good reviews though! Will report back on quality when we have our utility in!
