There is a replica too at the Faldo designed Chart Hills. I've played it much more than a dozen times and par'd it, been in the water too but never birdied it.

Augusta for me please.

There's a course by me that's got an island green to finish and also a par 6.
Just waiting for a green with a clown and windmill on it next.

Augusta for me, without question. I tend to agree with those who suggest the 17th at Sawgrass is just a little bit too crazy golf.

Although if I had to play TPC I think I’d manage to disguise my disappointment.

10 years ago I would have said Sawgrass because back then I was definitely a one hop and stop player. These days I do not get as much stop and looking at what happens top one that does not stop there it has to be Augusta.

If you were to play one of these par 3s which would it be? And it's only a one-hole offer..

I'd probably get my money's worth on both but the prospect of rummaging around the undergrowth at 12 would tip it for me

Loving the 'multiple votes are allowed'

Augusta for me .
I have played Sawgrass and 17th is brilliant but 12 at Augusta just has a look that other holes can’t match.
Left my birdie put on the lip very disappointed with a par.

I quite like 13 at Sawgrass.
Sawgrass is a fantastic course.
It’s tighter than it looks on tv.
Most tee shots are through shoots of trees, and you have to be straight.
But your right all the par 3s are very good.
18th is the best hole for me it’s very scary all you can see off the tee is water.
The green on 17 blends into the background of wooden stakes and it’s hard to see the edges ,it dosnt look like a island at all from the tee.

Augusta. The challenges are more subtle and capricious. Sawgrass is a bit naff for me, a sort of course design by numbers. Tis a hole where people are hoping to see errors rather than good golf.

12 at Augusta any day. Being on an "island", Sawgrass might be a tricky challenge for a hacker like me. But as far as I'm concerned, it looks like a nothing hole from the tee. Some flat grass leading to a flat pond with a flat bit of grass in it. No style.
