Alder Root near Warrington as nmy poorest experience, narowing 'beating' The Barn in Middlesex - though haven't been there since it changed to 27 holes about 10 years ago!
There is, however, an argument that Musselburgh Old could well be quite high on this 'list of shame' -apart from 1 magnificent hole!

I have to say that I play at one of the best courses in Ayrshire and also one of the worst in Ayrshire. my away course is a 9 hole municipal affair built on a dump built around a pond next to a caravan park next to the slaughterhouse. but I still love it
