World Snooker

i fancy Higgins to go all the way ,gutsy player and never gives it away cheaply.

Selby will favourite with the bookies no doubt but to be honest all 3 already thru are well capable, as is Mags if he plays properly and can get past Hawkins.

It's never been harder to win it, that's for sure.

I'd take Hawkings or Ding altough both will have to play a blinder to make the final.
Never been a big Higgins fan nor Selby.

If I had to bet it would have to be Selby.

I don't really mind who wins but of course it would be nice to see Ding win a WC.

Hawkins was disappointing. I think ding could have done better.

I'm supporting Shelby, met him at an awards event in January and he came across as a decent guy. Wrote a note out for my son when I told him that he was a big fan.

Good snooker player but terrible for fans watching so tedious and slow.
We moan about slow golfers but Selby takes longer to play a safety shot.

Whether he is exciting, entertaining etc. or not is a matter of opinion and therefore cannot be refuted. But he is not slow and that is a matter of fact. His average shot time is nowhere near amongst the slowest but squarely in the middle i.e. average of all the players who play. Guys like Rory McLeod, Peter Ebdon etc. are slow, Selby is not slow, he is average.
