World Number 1??!!Disgusting!!

I agree with Dodger, definite double standards going on, the only reason so little has been made of it is the poor coverage his game got on the yank controlled coverage. Its not about role models, it's about watching some civilised sport without a sound track from the Sopranos. :(

why is Lee any different?

He's not making a habit of it. Yet.

What's has that got to do with it. Tiger doesn't make a habit of spitting on greens but he was lambasted for it and rightly so. How you perceive a player should have naff all to do with what they get away with on the course.

Judging by the way he's going tonight LW won't be around to pollute our sensitve eardrums and offend our moral wellbeing this weekend.

I don't like Tigers surly attitude, throwing clubs, almost sulking his way round but I don't really have a problem with him letting an expletive go. It happens at any professional sporting event and it don't make a difference if you are #1 or #300 if you hit a crap shot there will be frustration. For me it is the petulance (spitting, club throwing and lack or ampathy with the viewing public) that annoys. Sergio does it, and there are others so Woods shouldn't be vilified alone

If you think that Lee and Tiger are the only ones who swear then you are living in cloud cuckoo land I'm afraid. I for one am happy that Woods is out as we can now see some of the other matches out there without the blanket coverage of everything that Tiger does. Thank you Thomas Bjorn.

I can't have a go at anyone for swearing.

Sometimes, I've been known to swear in the clubhouse, before a club has been swung in anger......

Leftie: "AW, you're out with Smiffy."

AW: "Oh for F@*K's sake!"

:o
