Anyone got any decent recommendations for a good wireless printer. It must work siraight out of the box with a 64 bit machine, I do not fancy messing with drivers that never work.
Thanks guys.

Thanks but I have one and am seriously un-impressed it comes and goes with the connection and the ink costs a fortune. It will not connect at the moment and am seriously ticked off with it, it's getting binned in the morning, any other suggestions lads?

Just to be different, I'm going to say Canon.

I've got to know a man who runs a franchise of Cartridge World and this is his make of choice.

He has the remnants of 4 or 5 HP printers from me (for spares) which i.m.o. are simply terrible long term. He recommends PIXMA.

Best to buy one that categorically states for 64-bit windows.

Does the printer really need to be wireless?

I cable my Canon IP4200 to a wireless router which in turn is accessible by any of the PCs in the house over the wireless network.

If the printer really has to be wireless because you cant move it close enough to the router then perhaps think about a wireless print server. That way you can buy any printer USB or Ethernet and make it wireless. Something like the NETGEAR WGPS606. Buy secondhand if you can because doing this will work out a bit more expensive.

Or buy a all in one but I dont have any recommendations on that I'm afraid.
