winter tees

Is it just Sheffield council courses that are still using mats throughout?!

I have enjoyed my first winter of golfing, but am looking forward to being able to stick a tee in the ground, and not to feel that i'm lined up wrong if not perfectly square with a little bit of concrete.

I pass a course every day on the way to work, and will be very excited to see the markers on the proper tees!

We just moved to the proper tees today.

We never moved to winter tees as we don't have them. Mind you when the ground was frozen solid I actually felt quite jealous of those on mats putting the tee in with ease
