does anyone use a different set of golf clubs for winter?

as i was talking to my mate and he has 2 sets 1 for the winter and 1 for normal golf season.
and i just thought it was a bit wierd, as you would have keep getting used to the different set each time. :D :D

Well - yes and no :D

If I have to carry because of a trolley ban, then sometimes I will only take out about half a set - odd number clubs one week and even number the next.

What I have found is that you definitely don't need 14 clubs, particularly in the winter, and having to "manufacture" shots because you may not have the right club certainly helps your game.

I do.

I usually carry over the winter, so stops my good clubs getting, wet, frozen, covered in crap etc.

Have a set of MP32 blades and and old F50 3 wood i use. The blades have helped with my ball striking.
