dont know either, weathers been crap so havent played for months.
Oh, and if any course has mats and/or winter greens I dont play.................might as well just hit balls in a farmers field for all the difference there is

We have no temp greens or mats so it's the usual full course all year round. The PGA was playing great the weekend with fairways giving some roll and quick firm greens. We played with two guys from Nottingham and they couldn't believe how good the condition was for this time of the year compared to what they are used to... Not bad for a goat track :clap:

Many on here call the PGA the goat track or potato field Phil... Must be blind or the long grass punished there wonky drives with a re-load :rofl:
I like the challenge of playing our course at full length. I know I can't get home on any long par 4's or the par 5's so I have to rely on the pitching from a hundred yards and in. An area I'm working hard on and good to see progress or not each time I go out. Also, with the rough being so penal it puts a bigger tariff on hitting the short stuff off the tee

Our course has invested major money in the last 24 months, as such the only difference between summer and winter golf is we play our winter comps and swindle from the back of the yellow tees from end of November to end of jan.
