Wilson dropping women?

Always thought that to be the case.

I'm surprised she didn't have to make a public announcement apologising and retracting the statement she made about Wilson "no longer want to market women".

After a minutes thought - I guess it depends on whether this was the plan all along or the reaction to Stupples making her statement a few weeks ago!

A fair point. If this was planned then you might have expected a statement a few weeks ago when this kicked off informing that they were working on signing a replacment for Stupples.

they declined to comment to the BBC on the same day (22nd Jan) as the tweets (which the BBC carried as if they had actually interviewed her, providing pretty much all her tweets as quotes!!!) and were never going to make a big issue of it as a large company - you learn very early there's no mileage in it! There is also the possiblility that they accepted that there was scope for confusion within communications; however tiny....

however, if KS was serious about negotiating with a new company her tweets were a strange way of going about it.
