I have been offered a DD6 + ten and a half degree Wilson driver in very good condition and wondered if anyone here had owned one before and your thoughts ?

Yeah v good! As it happens though I just bought a new driver 30 minutes ago…

Looking at your sig, you have the shockwave, which was the next driver Wilson Staff produced.

But mine has served me well and I am only replacing it because I needed a change as I couldn't no matter how hard I tried keep the ball flight down. But, that is just me with a very quick swing on a very windy course.

If you can get it for less than £50 or around that mark, you aren't wasting any money!

Shame as I was hoping there was a market for mine :p

Thanks for the reply.

I will buy it then as i have heard lots of good things about them.
What driver did you replace it with ?

910 D3 with Aldila rip shaft… completely different kettle of fish!

Before you buy it though don't just go on my word… don't want to be responsible if it is an early divorce… :o

Try it out!

Just bought it online so hopefully get it next week.

I damaged my shockwave this afternoon and my brother said the DD6+ is the best driver wilson ever made in his opinion so i thought i would give it a go.

If i dont like it i will buy a dxi but we shall see:)

oh ok! yeah it was the best to be honest, served paddy harrington ok!

well I hope it all goes swimmingly!

my dad had a superfast burner and couldnt get on with it so he came across a dd6 on ebay and got it very cheap.

He now swears by it and he hits and so much better than the burner.

I had a go with it myself, great feel to the club. If i wasnt hitting my driver so well i would def be looking at getting one at the right price.

I think you will be very pleased with it :)
