I am sort of new to this so will work it out. Dodger picked out a typo of mine so hence my comment.

Far from anti Lee. He's an awesome ball striker but hasn't got the mental ability or putting ability to win a major! That is my opinion and only my opinion. Your welcone to yours.
As I stated earlier on in this debacle I think of the current English crop, Rose will be the first to win a major.

I really like Westwood,good guy great ball striker,but alas I think he won't win one,to much young guns out there who can putt under pressure. I don't think it's a fair comparison to Monty,7 OOM titles says it all,he was very unfortunate not to win one,the only one he stuffed up IMO was the US open Ogilvy won,other than that he got screwed over by brilliant/lucky shots in play offs.
On a separate note any chance Westwood will turn to the belly putter to cure his putting woes?

Back to the quesiton. Will Westwood be the new Monty? No he will not.
Westwood is able to laugh off and look on the bright side of some of his near misses, where as Monty blamed the blade of grass that moved behind him, the camera shutter or the noise from a plane some 500 miles away.

So Monty is more like Faldo, then?
I remember seeing Monty who was paired up with Poulter at a Euro event at The London Club in 08.The guy was complaining about everything,he`s playing partners were there to make money and do well and they were just totally fed up with Montys childish whinging.Ridiculous behaviour and its this behaviour that stopped Monty becoming a champion golfer.....

Monty, great golfer, no majors. Westwood, great golfer, no majors yet.
I don't think he will win one, but I may yet be surprised, as his career is far from over. Top 3 in the world is no mean feat.
I hope he isn't the next Monty, as he seems quite a happy sort, so it will be hard to be that miserable all the time.
