Will Rory Win The Open?

no wind forecast so might as well give him the Claret Jug now.

With wind I might agree with you though.

Because I think he hasn't had his bad round yet and the talent queing up behind can drop in a low one.

"His bad round" ?

He doesn't always have a bad round ? - his two majors so far point to that exactly.

The talent also behind can also have a bad round.

MciLroy now 1/10 with bookies.

I really fancied Leonardo De Fowler to contend last round with Rory but looks like he's sunk now also.

No one can say 'he will' unless they have a crystal ball.

The simple answer is, he should but he might not.

That makes no sense, these are the three rounds of the top four so far, none of whom have had a bad round so why should Rory have one and the others not?

Rory: 66,66,68
Rickie: 69,69,68
Garcia: 68,70,69
Johnson: 71,65,71

Either Fowler, Garcia, or Johnson have a 66, 67 in them, Rory shoots a 73, 74 and they have caught him, its not over yet guys.

Hear what your saying but this year Rory has a habit of throwing a bad one in, he said it himself recently.

Well the habit was throwing in a bad Friday which has passed now as witnessed by his play yesterday

Rory doesn't have to attack though he can shoot a steady level par which will be easy for him if the conditions are fine and Fowler has to shoot -6 to tie him.

It's going to take a huge collapse to loose it from here.

If you look at the stats though its mainly Friday but not only Friday.Rorys played the best easily this week and I would like to see him win but I cant say its a forgone conclusion just get.
Ive been watching Fowler in recent Opens and the way he plots he's way around a links course is awesome, if he doesent win this one I'm sure he will get an Open in the future and he'll be my first pick for Troon 2016.

It is never over until the final put goes down.
He could pull a muscle, cut his hand or score a decent 72 to RICKIE's 66.

In Gary Player's first Open win the leader played the last 9 holes in 42 shots.
