Wild Card Picks - who would you choose?

Tough tough call for Jose! Will the Spanish in him plump for Sergio? Does he play safe and go for experience or does he blood a couple of rookies???


I would pick (assuming the current 10 stay the same)


Poulter - record, belief and experience make him a shoe in for me.

Colsaerts - big hitter, did well winning the Word Matchplay and great talent.

Sorry Sergio your oot and Kaymer your game is like a yo-yo these days so your dumped as well.
 
As it stands both Kaymer and Poulter are in Craw.

I would,and it pains me to say it but he'sshowing some decent form,pick Padraig.....actually do you know what I really can't be sure if I actually would!!!

Really struggling....we really don't seem to have much strength in depth at the moment....Seim,Cabrera Bello,Cloesarts????:mmm:

Oh well. Hope Kaymer drops out.

In that case I would suggest that Sergio is a stick on!
 
I'm sure it will be Sergio that he picks, whether he should, not sure.

As a longshot I think Thorbjorn Olesen would do really well, as has the right fighting spirit. Doubt he's even in olly's thinking though.

Yes to Colsaerts for me. Capable of really low scoring and some firepwoer to shut the crowds up when he bombs it past Bubba.
 
Not been watching much golf. How is the other Molinari playing.

Would tend to look at big hitters as I would guess that the Americans are going to set the course up to suit the likes of Bubba so no penal rough and plenty to suit the big and slightly wayward drivers.
 
Colsaerts definitely ! Belgium needs a chance to shine in golf! Such a small country that needs some motivation in golf.
 
The weak link in the team seems to be Kaymer, although he may yet surprise every one.

Padraig has plenty of experience (and some current form), Sergio has the passion, Colsaerts has power, Siem has a naff haircut (not sure what use that will be), Cabrera Belo? Hmm.

Paddy and Colsaerts for me.
 
Sergio and Colsaerts for me if the top ten stays as it is. If Poulter was to drop out of the 10 I would take him ahead of either of these 2.
 
I think Jose picks on the 27th August and USA finalise their last 4 on 4th Sept.
 
Why the pull for Sergio....every time i hear him talk recently I feel the energy drain from my body. Not sure I would find him to be an inspirational team mate.

Me neither,I love watching him as he's a great ball striker and can golf his ball but would I want him as my foursomes partner? No,would I want him over a crucial 4 footer?? Would I hell.
