Wierdest Par

Playing with my dad at Mijas, Spain, and on one of the par 3's he hooked his tee shot into the water short and right of the green.

As he was the last to play and was so disgusted with his original tee shot, he threw another one down on the tee and then holed out for a par!!

I can't remember the course but was playing a work society day a few years back and one of the holes was a stupidly short par 4 of about 270 yds. There was OB all down the right and bunkers either side of the green. Since it was summer and slightly downhill I decided to knock a 3-iron down there and take my chances with a chip and putt - what I actually did was shank my 3i straight out of bounds, stick my 2nd ball to 6 inches with 3-wood and tap in for par - genius :D

i holed my first shot in the spare hole {no flag} then dropped and two putted for par.

I can beat that. Playing a matchplay at Downshire I hit my tee shot on the par 3 3rd a bit thin and ended up in the uncovered hole pretty much the other end of the green. You should have seen the look on my opponents face when I knocked in the birdie putt from about 35 feet :D

Yes, I used to be a member at Aylesbury Park a few years ago. That Par 4 16th is a long one. A par on there is always welcome.
I was playing with my brother there and I blocked a drive on the Par 5 13th (I think i's the 13th) and onto the fairway of the 11th. My brother smoked his down the middle.
I then topped my next 2 shots up the 11th fairway as my brother hit his 2nd to 80-90 yards. He put his 3rd to 12 feet and 2 putted for par. I hit a 9 iron from the 11th fairway to approx 20 feet and sunk the putt for par....you are never out of a hole until you are really out...he just walked off to the next tee shaking his head. :)

BTW...this is my first post. Hi to everyone.

I played Milport yesterday with a customer and landed in a greenside bunker at the par 3 4th. I sculled my bunker shot, caught a tree behind the green as fush as you want and it rolled back to 4 feet which I got. My fellow players were wetting themselves.

Leaked a device out to the right at Ganton which took a big kick into the gorse.

Played a provisional into the rough, couldn't find my first ball and slam-dunked a short iron straight into the hole without a bounce for an easy 4.

My matchplay opponent totally fell apart allowing me an easy win after that shot. He just crumbled. :)
