Why I'll only ever use Ping.

each to their own, tried to order their new "flagship" putter several weeks ago, gave up waiting and cancelled the order when it was put back a month. Have tried to order again but cant even get a despatch date from them as they dont have the components and dont appear to know when they will get them

theyre now quoting mid to end June before they will have any Ketsch putter heads - makes you wonder why on earth they launched it if they cant actually supply any!

I wonder if they've sold overly well in the States leading to a shortage of heads in other markets.

Still not great press for them having no components of a newly released product.

bet the trainee pressed "send" on a Friday afternoon and come Monday the management found out, thought that it didn't matter as the putter is that ugly, no one in their right mind will actually order one, so we are all good.

Never read the links but I agree that Ping are the best, better than all the rest:thup:

Are they long'ier, straight'ier and cheap'ier than all the other brands?

Not my cup of tea thanks.

In the correct hand then the answer is Yes & Yes but if you want cheap irons try TM

£649 for TM MC
£649 for Ping G25
£519 for Ping i25

as much as I quite like some Ping irons the non ferrule irons look hideous and cheap

Only ever owned PING putters, but I have just crossed to the dark side and got an i25 3w. Got to say it is the best 3w I have ever owned and I have owned a lot looking for that holy grail club that goes well off the tee and the fairway. Looking at now getting the driver to match. But I have never picked up a PING iron, hit it and gone WOW!

I would like to have a whack with that new RAPTURE strong 3W

Similar story, never liked ping clubs, but i do now own an i20 5 wood. its just epic.. I did quite like the S55 irons,

Ping are fantastic.

Best woods for club golfers in my view.

The i25 irons are great as well. I highly recommend them and they are without question, the best irons I have ever tried.

It is all very subjective though.....

Fine.. I'm going to say it out loud....

I don't like Ping clubs... Any of them.. Not a one.. They're ugly, Industrial looking, Cardigan wearing, Werthers sucking, Saga holiday taking, Fixodent using, Group rambling, Coronation St watching, Edinburgh Woolen Mill shopping, Betty's Tea Room visiting clubs that are just not visually appealing in any way. (They are effective though)

Aaah, that's better...
