......"forget" shots they have played on a hole?

I was playing with a mate last week

for the first 5 holes i just marked the score he told me he got when he holed out, but by the 6th i had to say something

was he forgetting his tee shot? his 3 putts ?

I know it wasnt a serious round, but seeing as i was just getting into golf and he is a member and plays competitions, i wouldn't of expected it. Safe to say he didnt make any more mistakes!

Why in a medal round do people not play a provisonal when there is a chance there original ball maybe lost or out of bounds.

It only takes a minute to play a provisonal but a lot longer to walk all the way back to the tee after spending 5 mintues searching for the original ball.

Someone pointed me in your direction about a game.

I'm in Darlo too, just started out playing, would like to play with a few members who have experience and know how of the sport to maybe make me a bit better....

Usually play at Hall Garth once a week. 112 is my best, so some serious work needed on the game.

'Wayman' was also up for a game sometime as well

being an engineer you would always design to a two sigma level and add on a tolerance gap for a bit of expansion.

take 20 practice swing then duff it 20 yards, get to the ball have another 20 then proceed to do the same again!!!

Why do people take two or three beautiful, relaxed, slow practice swings, address the golf ball and then..........................JESUS.....................what the hell kind of swing was that?
They absolutely attack the ball with everything they've got and proceed to chunk it another hundred yards towards the green.................approach said ball.................and repeat!
