Why do old people do this...........

Munro, maybe have a read of almost every response to your posts and have a think about why you've had those responses. If you have half a brain you'll draw the conclusion that you haven't done yourself any favours. Now I'm guessing you're going to come back with some smart ar$e answer that you think makes you look all big and clever. In reality, every time you post something up like that you sound smaller and more childish.

Point well made.

Hobbit, you may have a good point.

Unfortunately there are some Trolls on here that make my blood boil, with there comments.

And i take the bait.

Hay ho

boys boys boys, lets have a wee think here. ive never met the coffin dodgin hater. all he has done has posted his 'thoughts:thup: of what has happened. he hasnt said ' i want blonde hair and blue eyes for my country'!!

Might be a knobby answer but if you think your ball has been stolen then isn't it a free drop and play from a point decided by your playing partners to be as close to where it was.... or perhaps even go back and replay the shot?

Where's the 'rule hounds' when you need 'em

i think you need to be 100% certain and actually see the ball moved or stolen to claim free relief if youve blindly hit over trees to an ajoining fairway there is IMO no way you know 100% where you ball is?

I am beginning to think that there is a "wind up merchants club" at large on the forum - first we have Papyt and then Shivas and now Munro. All three, in the last couple of weeks have made totally stupid statements and when everyone, and I mean everyone, has effectively told them that they are talking utter bollo**s they keep on digging themselves further in to a hole, rather than stop digging and not totally confirm that they are idiots.

As for this posting, the basic premise is offensive and doesn't merit a reply from me, ""an old person" except to consider a new thread, after reading all Munro's postings, with the question " why can't young people spell and use grammar properly?" but I guess us oldies will be wrong for asking that!

As one of the "older ones " well 52 was B..... ancient when I was 20 this once nearly happened to me.

Hit my tee shot in the rough on the left of our fairway to see "Older than me chap " heading to where my ball landed, despite my shouts he then proceeded to play my ball and headed off up his fairway. Quick look confirmed no sign of my ball so headed off after him and his group and confronted them on the green, " Nope sorry not playing a Callaway and happy to show me their balls. " "Ok sorry chaps, really looked like you'd played my ball and I'm 5 under my handicap " says I and head back off muttering under my breath about my bad luck and a blob coming up to find my playing partners standing over my ball some 20 yards ahead of where i thought it was DOH DOH. Did i feel like a right plonker. Mucho apologizing in bar latter.
So Munro007 I could, like you swear blind he'd had it away with my ball but it was my mistake, happen as like you've made one too eh??

At least you had the dignity to apologise for questioning them.

You could have come on a forum, made a sweeping generalisation, and come across as a bit of bell-end. Thankfully, you didn't.

As for the OP, Chrisd nailed it on, it's just another WUM.

I find myself asking the same question. Munro's inability to know the difference between "know" and "no" is unbelievable.

Almost as unbelievable as Shivas' inability to see the difference between "he's" and "his".

And before I get called a spelling/grammar nazi, please remember that if you expect people to read your rabid, vapid drivel, at least spell things properly so that your statements give me slightly less of a headache than they otherwise would.
