Why do old people do this...........

munro

why are you suggesting that only 'old' people would steal a ball? I'm probably what you describe as 'old' and to be perfectly honest, I take offence at what you are suggesting. I've seen plenty of bad behaviour from young people on the course, from what you've described it sounds like your behaviour isn't too clever either.

Jolly good old yin.

Off with my head....

You're not really doing yourself any favours. Have a think about how you acted and the (unfounded) accusation you made in your OP and how you have responded to the comments made by other people on here.

As you like using Scottish slang, here is an expression for you......

you're acting like a choob.

Guys, as you have all said. Your all welcome to your own opinions. And i am welcome to mine. I know what they did, and if it was on my home course i would have said something.

And calling me a CHOOB, grow up fella.

Were the old boys Scots ? Seems a shame to make a sweeping generalisation about old people, and miss the chance to do the same about your fellow countrymen.

I can't see where your moral high ground is coming from here, you weren't playing your home course but a place that you knew quite well, you hit a ball over an obstruction without warning then had the ignorance to assume that 2 elderly gents who were enjoying a stroll on their home course to know where your ball was, or if they had taken it; and you're now saying that if it was on your own course you would have taken them up on it? As well as insulting two men and also the elderly community you are now telling people to grow up for calling you up on your flawed arguement? I want some of whatever you're on

Its a course that i have played loads.
How do you know its there home ground.
Yes because if it was my home course, and if it was there's they would have known that loads of people hit there balls in that area.
And how have i insulted 2 old yins.

Munro, from one Edinburgher to another, I'm afraid you're coming across as a bit of a cock here.

Hahaha and your point is.

its not a great thing to come across as a childish knob.

But, its nice to have this sense of togetherness, and bond with the majority of the forum who think your a complete tit based on this thread alone. and for that i thank you indeed for your thread.

Phil
