How many have you have ever done this?......

Last night I finished work at 17:00 and jumped in the car and off to the course to meet the Monday night club. Pulled up into the car park, parked up, opened the boot to find I had FORGOTTEN my clubs!!

My balls, shoes and towel were there but my clubs were in the storage cupboard at home.

Popped into the pro shop, borrowed a bag and a set of Titleist 775's, which I struck further and straighter than my own irons! Arranged to borrow them tomorrow also, as I can see a new set of clubs on the horizon!

Not quite the same but was having my old clubs re-gripped so borrowed some 775' from the pro, needless say they are still in my bag.

You cant go wrong with 775's. I have the 755's which I stole virtually as they were ex-demo.

They have really helped bring my game along, I am now breaking 90 regularly and hitting some fabulous iron shots that my oversized irons never seemed to deliver quite so crisply.

I can definately see the benefits in forged clubs and wouldnt have anything else now.

As soon as I have the game for it, I shall be investing in a set of ZM or ZB Titleist irons. They look awesome and from what I have seen and heard do the business great.

Forgotten my shoes before, due to driving home in them afer a previous round. Could explain why I seem to have collected a few pairs of Footjoys over the past few years.

Left a driver behind on occasion, even left my favorite putter at home, though seeing as I always carry at least one extra driver in the boot & several putters.

Have come out without a pen to mark the card before.

But never never, never forgotten a set of clubs.

Came out once without the battery for my S1 once, so decided to carry rather than push the trolley. Carrying is so much easier than pushing or pulling a cart.

Once got three quarters of the way to work in rushour before I remembered I didn't have my back for the post work round so headed back home to get.

Two trips in the same rushour wasn't much fun I can tell you.

Arrived an hour early at a club i hadn't played before, after having a sandwich in the car, i got out of the car and locked the door only to see the keys still in the ignition, with my clubs, shoes etc still in the boot, with now only 1/2 an hour until my tee time.

i phoned the breakdown people and told them my problem, they got someone there within 15mins (must have been a fellow golfer) and it took 2 mins to get in the car and i just about made my tee time.

I seem to have forgotten how to play this week, The scores for Sunday & Monday were too embaressing.

Was wondering how you can lock your keys in the car & then I remembered how it used to be done years ago before central locking, lift door handle on outside & puch down lock.... oops.

Have heard about people when in car parks, usually mothers with their kids sorting out the pushchair (Bloomin' banes of towncentres these days), thy'veclossedthe door, whilst erecting the said pushchair, whilst shouting at the tops of their mouths at kids that seem to be deaf, running round damaging everyone elses cars, when clunk...!!!, their car door has locked due to the time the door has been closed.

Well at least thats a push chair that hasn't tripped me up in WHSmiths whilst I'm picking up my Golf Monthly etc.
