Who subscribes to Golf Monthly?

As my subscription has now expired with another magazine I am looking to start my subscription with GM. So two questions:-

1. How many of you subscribe to GM?

2. What's the best deal out there? A few months ago the flyer in GM was giving away Srixon Z-URS's, now it's AD333's.

Best freebie deal is Golf World = 12 Z Star, I subscribed last month.

Will subscribe to GM soon as I fancy the freebie, dont know what TG are giving away? Probably some Taylor Made gear.

I have subscribed for nearly a year now, got some free AD333s and saved me some cash. Just started with GW and got the free Srixon Z-Star's delivered after only a week of signing up!!

Does anyone know if subscriptions just carry on with GM or if I don't renew and sign up again then get the AD333s or if you renew its classed as a new subscriber and get them anyway? Just wondering is all.

I got wilson staff DX2 soft when i signed up. Still have one or two left as well... much prefer the Nike One Platinum that the mag/web gave me in December though.

I really do find Golf Monthly the best out of the golf magazines... they seem to pamper less to the big advertisers in their reviews etc. and the articles are all well written.

Subscribe to both GM and TG got AD333's and some TM Burners from TG after a little delivery "issue" (very well handled I must say) and some ZURS from GM (most of which are in the rough at Mottram Hall!)

If you don't renew I would imagine you'll just get the magazine, after a year so do what I used to do with 442, cancel and renew every year to get a freebie.

I've subscribed for over a year now....I got the Instructional DVDs I wish I held out for the balls now.

That been said I subscribed for the best mag not the best gift.

Oh and the subscritption just carried on for me.... no more more freebies i'm affraid.

Although the AD333's are Okay, I was waiting for a different ball to be offered before subscribing as I really don't think they're that great. Now some B330RX balls would go down a treat especdially as my gift subscription to GolfWorld came to an end this month... Must say I wouldn't mind some Z-Stars... Love the feel of those balls even though I don't think they are as long as the Z-URS they replace or the Bridgestone B330RX balls I've also tried.

That said, I play with Z-Stars which cost £30 and the GW is £40 a year so its cost me £10 for a years subs to a mag.

GM is the best mag out there by far and freebies are a bonus, but if I can save extra cash on the bonus I will.

If you have paid a lump sum for the year, the subscription will need renewing. If you pay by DD, as like any other DD, it will continue until you (please don't) choose to cancel.

We at the mag are all ears (within reason) to find new and inventive ways to get readers to subscribe. However, as I'm sure you all appreciate it's our role to ensure you keep coming back to the mag for its content.

Not to mention there are mags I wouldn't bother subscribing to no matter what the freebie. But what's the point in a freebie if its not a freebie you want even though you might want the Mag & benefit from with the subscription. I'll certainly be be re-subscribing to Golf World especially as the incentive is a good one.

I've just resubscribed to GM through Tesco Clubcard points and what freebies did I get??

To be fair - I effectively get the mag for free so c'est la vie I suppose.

BTW did anyone notice GolfPUNK has gone back on the shelves recently as GolfPUNK international.

Not seen Golf International on the shelves for a while around here. Shame as it is another good one like Golf Monthly is good, just in different ways.

GM is one I dearly want to subscribe to however, but as I say I need an incentive I actually want rather than one I'd end up giving away to someone else. As the last AD333's I had as a Christmas gift I gave to a workmate.

I subscribed to GM about a month ago. Not had my first issue yet, but I guess it will be soon. Still not had the AD333s yet either, but I am happy to wait. I won't use them til the clocks change anyway.

That golf international is only 6 issues for £32.99 with free Z-Stars without its £14.99 and credit card only not DD.

GM a new R9 would deffo get me to renew

I'd take a complimentary round of golf at a top (localish) course over a box of free balls any day to get me to re-subscribe.

It's all about playing the game and not necessarily what i'm playing with that i'm interested in.

I have had 3 calls from GM subscriptions whilst I have been at work and my wife on each occasion has said I am interested and will subscribe if they call back later. Never had a single call back.

Still, I will be signing up for a subscription shortly and whilst it is the content that makes me subscribe, free balls never go amiss.

I subscribed last month, the £15 every six month DD - There was no free gift as far as I was aware.
