I started a thread this morning which has got almost 40 replies in a few hours. However, it has 1 star out of 5. I noticed this not long after I posted the thread. I also see threads getting 5 stars after only 1 or 2 replies.

I then see posts with 1 reply or even no replies with no rating at all.

Does someone / some people rate the thread themselves, is it automated, or what?

Seems off my thread gets a bad rating when it seems to be quite popular. I'm not fishing for ratings, just thought I'd ask!

Also, I realise this thread will have 1 star before long.

Looking forward to some historical starring - Where to stand when your FC's are teeing off? Tee's custom fitting? How far do you hit your 7 iron? Be good to see just how good those threads really were!

Jeez, umpteen thousand posts, most of nonsense I agree, around five years of being on the forum, and I've never seen said stars, or the bit where you can add them. Wow, you do still learn something every day.

If you want to rate a thread, you need to 'Go Advanced' before submitting your post and scroll down to 'Additional Option', click the checkbox 'Rate this thread with the following value'

Me neither, but since I now know how, I rated this one as terrible :D
