who moved from carrying to push trolley or other trolley

Farfaeforfar,

Best of luck with the spend and you may find that your pro will at least price match the big high street boys if you are having lessons with him.

Hit em straight ...ish

I do both, it seems strange but during the winter months I carried more than I used my electric motocaddy. It kept me fitish and kept me warm/loose. It was when the weather got warmer that I was sweating my guts off and I have noticed my feet do not ache as much the day after I had carried. Electric trolleys are so much more relaxing, but a bit more hassle than than just slinging yer clubs in the boot. But well worth it.

Moved to electric trolley a few years back, due to lower back and shoulder pain during and after a round.

Recently upgraded my old Powakaddy to a new 36 hole lithium Motocaddy M3pro. Folds down really small and goes up and down in seconds.

Wouldn't be interested in carrying again.

Are electric trollies really much easier than a 3wheel push trolley?
I find my push trolley pretty effortless.

I moved from carrying a pencil bag with all my clubs in, to a push trolley and to be honest I reckon I get more tired pushing the trolley than I do carrying the bag.

Think I'm going to sell the push trolley soon and maybe get electric. Been looking at a go kart as they are a pretty decent price and look fairly straight forward.

Go Kart. Job done.

Wouldn't be without mine. Happy to carry during the winter when we have a trolley ban but as soon as winter rules is off, the Go Kart is back out.

I was lucky. HID bought me a motocaddy for our wedding anniversary. I had hedgehogs on the Go Kart and so use that in winter now and the motocaddy in the summer. Saves forking out for winter wheels which were expensive for what they are

I went from carrying to electric to 3-wheel push.

Carrying is great and gives you a sense of more freedom and speeds up play when weaving & looking for yours or your pp's ball in the trees. Electric is effortless but forgetting to charge and hump around batteries was a pain. I think the 3-wheel Motocaddy S1 push trolley is the perfect answer :D

I have gone the other way, I used to use an electric Motocaddy but now I just carry my lightweight callaway stand bag. Much less effort getting in and out of cars etc.

I went from carry to pull, to electric and got an MD push trolley as a back-up. Used the push for a few months over winter as my go-kart was in need of repair since killing it with the rough at Murvagh and I hadn't bothered to get it arranged. Just got my Gokart back after service and upgrade to the automatic and the difference is massive. Although the push is better than carry or pull trolleys the Gokart makes a round that bit more enjoyable because I don't feel it as much in my knees and legs.

At our level it's about being realistic. Like a few others on here I'm less spritely than once I was so I mainly push these days, thoroughly recommend the ClicGear 3.5. However sometimes I will still carry, usually for 9 holes in summer conditions although sometimes in winter if we've got areas roped off & long routes as it's easier than walking the long way round and we allow that. After all it's not like the pros carry.
