SO what bargains have you had... ??? Who has got the best deal!

Got my irons for 80 quid. Beautiful clubs, just too good for me i fear but were very very cheap.

Cleveland classic putters for 55 quid are a bargain for anyone aswell.

Oh, my driver was free courtesy of GM which has to be my biggest bargain.

Callaway HyperX driver. Was a top model a couple of years back. Bought one new last year for £78. Really suits me and it's usually the most reliable club in my bag - used it 10 times yesterday and hit 8 fairways. The other 2 were only missed by a couple of yards.

Wilson Staff 3 & 5 woods ladies model for my 11 year old son which I paid about £4.50 each for brand new off ebay. Great clubs that he hits really well and when I need to sell them on should easily get my money back.

I managed to get 5-pw Nike Slingshots brand new for an incredible £69.99! The dopey salesman in the shop had put the price for the shoes which where on a shelf above on the irons instead so much to the managers dismay he had to honour the purchase.

Got my electric trolley from the classified ads in the local papaer - Hillman Cruiser model - £65 including bag, 36 hole battery (that lasts 72 holes) spare wheels, brolly holder.

The guy had bought it and promtly changed his car for a small model so could not fit it in. He had only used it a couple of times and it still had the plastic wrapper on some of it.

nearly all my gear was a bargain...
driver £35 off ebay

3 and 5 wood I got in a bundle with some wedges and a nike sq driver for £40

The 5 baffler was 40 quid I think and the 4 baffler I swapped for a couple of the wedges in the bundle above

Irons were £80 off here

the 2 vokey wedges I got for £40 the pair

Driver was 90 quid but part ex'd a left handed putter I got on ebay for 37 quid and got 50 trade in, also got 12 diablo hx tour balls with it aswell which I hasten to add are very good indeed
