You’ve never lived you lot…..Cream and The Sensational Alex Harvey Band……youtube em.

Good Grief.... I was just about to write Alex Harvey into my post when I copped this. Didn't know anyone else had even heard of Alex Harvey. Reading Festival, mid 70's in the pouring rain. Absolutely brilliant.
Zappa mid 8o's
Genesis Foxtrot tour
Johnny Kid & the Pirates

And for the QUO fans, I can just about remember seeing them at a local village fete, sometime between Matchstick men and their "comeback" with Dog of Two Head. Roundabout 69-70

I hate to do this to you, but my folks really didn't enjoy The Wall at Earls Court in '79 ish. Too much about Roger Waters or something.

Tis troo bout Roger Waters - the rest of the band indulged him just once too often for everyone's liking. Thing is, Roger's talent got to his head and now I believe he lurks on forums, pretending to be a golfer.

In no particular order

Fish (numerous venues/dates)
Pink Floyd (Division Bell - Earls Court)
Meat Loaf (numerous times at Wembley Arena)
Tina Turner (sheer stage energy - went with HID)
Marillion (Seasons End - Hammersmith Odeon)
Dire Straits (Wmebley Arena - Brothers in Arms)

Faithless at MEN. Without doubt the best live act I have seen, followed by Groove Armada and Basement Jaxx. In my younger days it would have to Genesis (before Peter Gabriel left and the weird little guy from behind the drums came out and started singing. Absolutely murders "Suppers ready"

My brother took me to see them, I was in the last year of high school and it was my first gig, what a debut, I was right at the front and couldn't hear a thing for days.

I'd forgotten these, and I helped out rigging the sound for one of their gigs in Brighton, lo these many years ago!

Nearly forgot - they were on the same bill as The Jam - which was who I'd really gone to see.

TOMO21: Yes well, this age thing.. sadly don't get to many these days. Prostate & stuff means you can't stay in one room that long any more :( the whippersnappers will learn in due course....

The gig I wish I'd seen - Talking Heads, Stop Making Sense tour.

Animals - May/June 1964 as a supporting act. Always remember House of the Rising Sun performed "unplugged" a week or so before it hit the charts.

Cream, Cream and more Cream 1966 onwards.
