Which Wedge?

I would end with the 58 deg wedge for sure, the MPT-4 58 is a nice wedge, something with approx. 8 to 10 bounce so good for bunker play too

I have ordered the low cost MD Seve Icon wedge in 58 deg 9 bounce for the same reasons but lower cost

just for hybrid and long iron or you mean for the whole bag i.e same swing with driver and wedge?

All clubs. As the shaft gets shorter you will naturally stand closer to the ball which will cause you to get a little bit steeper but you shouldn't be making a conscious swing change.

Sometimes I actually cheat a little and use the same position for both my 3i and 4i but don't tell anyone ;)

Cant say I agree Im afraid, driver and wedges are different golf swings for me, weight in different positions and a different intention for the swings

I would say the same for me with an iron and a wood/hybrid... hehe :o:)

Think about it in simple terms, when you go for a lesson, does the pro ask you which club you want to learn to hit or does he just teach you sound fundamentals?

Currently which club I want to hit. Ask anyone who has played with me, hit irons like a low cat 1 golfer, hit the driver like an 18 handicapper. Working on reducing the wrist hinge with the driver and ensuring my weight is further back so that Im not smothering the driver and have room to maintain the loft and hit up on it - but hey, what does he know eh, much better I listen to a random on a forum

It appears that you might be better off using one wedge well. As a high handicap golfer try to keep it simple unless you really think you can control clubs with different bounce and with only a few degrees between each. Good luck in the medal......

F. Which is A & D combined. Summer, dryer harder ground, ball going further, I'll drop something at the top end of the bag and carry 47, 52, 56, 60. Winter, softer ground, shorter distances, 47, 53, 58, put something longer back into the top end of the bag to compensate for the loss of distance.
