Slipper Wearing Plucker of Pheasants
I find that when it comes to wedges I have to practice a lot at hitting each one lots of different distances.Loft difference is secondary to distance difference - they don't always correlate. Distance is what the OP should be considering.
And the loft is important to me for defining the type of I shot I will be able to play.
After a 46° iron, I like 50°, 55°, 60°, but I might also choose 52° and 58° to give me more options at the higher end of the bag.
How I play with 50°, 52°, 55°, 58° and 60° is a matter of my experience and ability. I can hit all those clubs 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 yards. Defining each one merely by the maximum distance I can hit it is not the most important thing to me. I will know that fact, however.
I also own two 64° wedges.
But like I have said in my previous summing up - it will be up to the OP to solve his own issues with bag set-up according to what suits him.
