Which way did your handicap go this year?

Started 8.2 High 8.6 Low 7.5 Finished 7.7.

Bit disappointing as I hoped to at least come down 1 shot but hopefully it won't take long next season.

Should've been lower as shot a nett 4 under in an unexplained non-qualifier.

Aim for Cat 2 next season!

Started year 9.4, ended 8.6 so no real movement but next year is the year....

Handicap started the season at 12.8 had run of 8 straight buffers then went up to 14, after going back to my old coach in August - September in my last 2 comps i got back down to 12.2, so much better end to the season and working on getting back to single figures again ,hopefully

Highest was 3.6, Lowest 2.7

Played 28 Qualifiers - 7 Cuts, 9 Buffers and 12 .1s (6 of those by one shot often a bogey up the last).

Started at 11.5, followed by a lot of rubbish that saw me oscillate up to 11.9 before a tiny recovery down to 11.2.

Not played enough this year. Judging by my work schedule next year is going to be worse. Sucks to be me.

I am happy with that as I didn't get much golf in this year. I only played 6 competition rounds. I had 1 0.1, 3x buffer, 2 x under handicap rounds.

I started a 3 year plan to get back to 12 2 years ago mate. I'm almost ready to enter some decent Opens now 😂

10 up to 11.3 back down to 10.9, currently at 11.0.... no real practice or lessons... work kinda took over. Quite happy hacking it around and not putting myself under any pressure...... maybe next season will really practice and try and get lower. Dave's thread on a playing lesson is certainly put a thought in my head....

Started the year at 17.1, ended up going north at 18.5 - only played 5 comps due to work etc and all were 0.1's.

Not helped with a swing change that i started in the summer that still needs to bed in completely, suspect i'll probably be around 20 before it bottoms out.

Note to self for 2017 - must try harder................ I don't want to go back up above 18!
