Which way did your handicap go this year?

Finished the year .3 lower than I started. Too much of a mixed bag to get any lower.

.1s all in an northerly direction. Worst season of my (ahem) career.

Started 11.6 finished 12.9

Will be happy to see the back of 2016.

Started at 5.something (6) got down to 4.1 and now back to 5 (4.5) so pretty pleased overall. Played very few comps and only a couple at home but plan to play more next year. Target is 3 which I think is achievable if I play more round my home track instead of away courses I don't know very well.

Started the year at 8.6 went up a bit and finished strongly at 6.2 so all in all I'm a happy bunny! 😬

my h/cap hasnt changed ,i have just lost my "C" as i havent played any qualifiers due to injury .
my skill level has probably dropped from 14 to 34 now .

well I've had a mixed year!!

Start at 9.2 - Highest 9.6 lowest 7.9! finished at 8.9!

I've decided I played too many mid week medals! If I didn't play as many as I did I would of stay at 8.0! So this year is focused on more practice and full focus on the club competitions!!

1.2 to 2.0... Know more about my game than ever but just played badly in many lovely events during the season. Working hard on stuff through the winter to give myself the best chance next year.

Took some lesson and made a concerted effort to think more on the course this year.

So had 3 cuts over the year with a long string of +0.1 early on to end the year 0.7 lower than the start and almost at my target of getting to a handicap of 18.0. Maybe next year!

17.1 to start with and now 17.8, a bit fed up with my golf so I booked some lessons. Pro straight away spotted a problem with my posture and fixed it and I feel like I'm hitting the ball well, won some money in the roll up on Tuesday and looking forward to the Spring.

Down. I started off at off at 11.8, a couple of 0.1's saw me up to 12 and then buffer zone from May to September when I shot nett 67 which got me down to 11.2 so very happy with that. My handicap graph on HDID is a bit like a roller coaster but at least shows a downward trend. (i.e. long periods of mediocrity with the occassional flash of 'brilliance')
