Which way did your handicap go this year?

We had our final qualifier of the year last weekend and I managed a small cut. :thup:

I thought I'd have a look to see how my handicap went this year.

It started at 12.6 peaked at 13.5 and finished at 12.2

So all year I played off 13 save the one game at 14 but start the new year off 12

How has your handicap faired?

Down 3 shots, although going from 20.4 to 17.4 was a nightmare for the next medal knowing I was on the cusp of getting a full shot back just for a poxy 0.1 😡

Looking for same size cut of at least 3 shots in 2017 👍

Highest 4.5 (1 game off 5)

Lowest 3.3 (5 games off 3)

Finished at 3.8

Started 4.9, got down to 4.3 and finished on 4.5.

Not too bad considering I seemed to play worse and worse as the season went on!

Think I have found a true handicap. 4 x 0.1 increases. A 0.6 cut and 10 buffers. Pretty consistent year for me.

Down 0.2 overall.

Started 10.3 and played 78 rounds and still on 10.3 , lowest was 9.2 & highest 10.6 ,

consistent I guess lol

Started 20.8 peaked at 21.2 and finished on 20.2, a few 0.1s and lot of buffers and I think a level where without any practice I'll have found my natural golf level.

Started at 12.6 and two early cuts saw me down to 10.5 by the end of April , but it has been a mixture of 0.1's and buffers since then so I'll end 2016 on 11.0.

Bad year for me, from 10.0 to 11.6, just a couple of 0.2 cuts and 20 0.1 increases. that will teach me to mess about with my swing too much over the winter.

Started at 8.5 and after only 3 qualifying competitions down to 7.8. Lack of competitions due to family life and it's only going to be more tricky as another wee one is on its way.

South, 12.7 to 9.9 , pleased with that !!! Pretty obvious what my target is for next year !!!

14.2 start of the year

15.7 peaked (or is that bottomed out)

10.2 lowest (somehow that exceptional cut to single figures did not happen...)

10.7 current

All after 55 qualifying comp rounds - just keep on trying !!

Started at 5.3 ended up at 4.1

Started at 3.2 - ended at 2.8.

Highest was 3.6, Lowest 2.7

Played 28 Qualifiers - 7 Cuts, 9 Buffers and 12 .1s (6 of those by one shot often a bogey up the last).

Started at 21.6 and finished at 20.4 so in effect down two shots. Played a lot of the year in the buffer zone and have been very close to having the round where I smashed it. Would be looking to have a similar cut next year.

Started at 19.2 finished 13.4. Cut twice in two weeks to 13.3 back in April, have managed to pretty much hang in there all summer and only had a 0.1 in the last medal of the season. Played in 12 qualifiers over that period.

Started the year at 22.4 currently playing 16.2, considering my hand operation in January, for a senior golf I'm well happy
