Which glove do you use?

I tend to use a decent leather glove for competitions such as the R9 or the FJ Sciflex (have a number of Sciflex colours to match what I'm wearing). I tend to use a synthetic glove usually one with the leather patch on the palm down the range as the gloves seem to take a battering when I hit a lot of balls (probably a clue about my grip!)

Srixon cabretta for me, superb value and they last. I pay £6.99 for mine that's a good buy in anyone's book.

bought 4 leather ones like Carbaretta off fleabay for a tenner posted and they last 2 months, comfy and well made but no marker stud, but do have the Scotland flag. Look and play good.

this is a subject that i have thought alot about and chopped and changed gloves many times, and when the fingers fit, they are to wide, etc. so for the last 6 or 7 rounds, i have not worn a glove, and found no detriment, and have not had a club slip.
i use lamkin jumbo grips, and any bad shots are down to me.
try it you may be surprised, and save yourself some money,

at the moment, this is the way i will be going

Back in the 60's no one wore gloves so I never have. For the life of me I cannot see the advantage unless you suffer from sweaty hands
good point but if I take it off for a putt to be like the pros and forget to put it back on I always have a hellish drive. Maybe in the mind though.

I no longer wear one, well atm anyway. I used to wear a tm r7 one or a sciflex one. I have a tm burner one in the bag and a few in the utility at home, but I deceided to try without one after I played in wet conditions and my glove was to wet to hold anything and found I played very well without it.

:)

yeah footjoy 4 me aswell i have been using the weathersof through the winter think im going to change to a sciflex.how often do you think they should be replaced???

I always use a wet weather glove in the rain. It's designed to become better the wetter it gets. I'll use a couple of those if its chucking it down. Much better than using a normal glove and having to change it afte afew holes.

I wish I was good enough to care which glove I use.

No holes and 5 fingers intact is good for me.... well a few little holes aren't too bad ;)

I have just got a Nike Dri-Fit Elite from the Nike factory store for £6. It was the last in my size or I would have got a couple more.
