Which Driver ?

I eventually got it at Silvermere in Surrey. They have a very well stocked shop & all the staff are helpful. As I said, if you have a driver fitting they take another £20 or so off. I would highly recommend them. Plus the fitting was really helpful.

Thanks Matty - that place looks excellent and not too far away from me. I think I'll give them a call. I like the look of their opening hours too! Might be able to get there before or after work one day.

I've bought two or three drivers over the past couple of years without seeing much benefit in performance.

The best thing I've done recently is change the shaft to an aftermarket one. I've got a Nike VR_S head with a UST Proforce 65 shaft.

I've found getting the right shaft made much more difference than a different head. In future I'd make sure I buy any club from a fitter capable of supplying you with a wide range of shafts to try out.
