Which Car do you Drive?

Ford Focus which has loads of space for transporting clubss. Also a Toyota Celica which I use but is actually my dads he play Taylormade clubs and his reg plate starts R7 to match his irons!!

Beemer 3 series. Have to take the driver out to get in the boot. Have considered something bigger as wifey wishes to play.
Actually went into the local Audi dealer, the other day, to look at the Q series. What a deterring effect a TM driver over your shoulder has on the sales personnel.:D

I got a lift to the golf club yesterday in a renault clio, we got 4 people and 4 full sets of clubs in it! ok we had to take the drivers out, but it wasn't even too much of a squeeze… :)

mark 5 Golf GTI (3door).
big enough for one player to take all your stuff, but you'd have to use the back seats for any more.

I have a rather ancient Alfa, which was made well before golf club drivers suddenly grew in length. Fortunately with a bit of pushing and bending I can still squeeze the clubs in.;)

Alfa 156 Sportwagon. Can fit a tour bag, electric trolley and bits in the boot with the right organising. can fit about 3 normal carry bags but to be honest I generally just chuck them on the back seat to save the bit of manipulation needed.

you did well to get the 4 people in never mind the clubs .. where did you put the 4 sets of clubs ?

MX-5 for me, so I can fit my bag in the boot if I take the woods out. Otherwise I could fit the bag in the passegner seat footwell ok and put my suitcase in the boot.

No joy if I have to pick someone up, unless they play my club as my clubs are in my locker ;-)

My current car's a Fiesta, but with taking up golf my car just doesn't have enough boot space, so I'm considering buying something with a larger boot. I don't drive many miles, working within 4 miles of home, so I'm not looking for anything too big.

Have any of you guy's gone out and bought a larger car just for your bats etc? Also, which car do you drive?

VW passat tdi, 50 MPG................massive boot for tour bag trolley shoes battery and room for a deed body. It really is that big. Got a Passat for sale by the way????????????

2010 Audi A4. Fits a bag and trolly in the boot easliy without dropping the seats. If I drop the seats easily fit a 2-3 bags and a couple of trollys.

Now, if I take my 911 then I'll probably have to take one club at a time and get the GF to drive the bag up there for me in advance :mmm:

I have a Jaguar X Type estate and can get 2 bags and electric trolleys in easily. If I have to take my wife's Abarth 500 I can still get 1 bag and 1 electric trolley with back seat s folded forward.

No wonder you are always late.

The tears were flowing when my 2009 BMW 335 Coupe turbo diesel m sport had to go back as was splitting from the gf, so now have a nice (but not as nice) 2003 Mercededs C240 ( in silver surprise surprise) bought from a mates brother in law and I will probably keep it until it breaks as motoring/cars is one major expense these days.

You mean because it's so much fun to drive I always take the longer routes? :)

My 156 is over 13 years old, so it is always a relief to get to any destination ! Touch wood it has never let me down, and the only time it has been into a garage is for a service and MOT. Is this a record ?:whoo:
